When I found out I was funny
I played Rapunzel in a child’s summer theatre production. I was standing behind a cardboard castle. When the prince yelled out “Rapunzel let down your hair” and I said ” I cant talk to strangers” and I accidently knocked over the castle. I got a huge laugh from the audience. This is when I found out I liked comedy.
From there, I started taking improve classes. I had so much fun! I got to make up different characters and I found myself playing a good drunk person. I got a huge laugh from my classmates. I drew from my partying experience. HA HA!
Some of my training has included a workshop in Burbank on the backlot of Warner Brothers. I performed in some student films. It was an interesting experience. I got to expand my acting to include more dramatic roles.
I have enjoyed my acting journey so far, but with each experience I get most excited about comedy.
